Hello,
School Heroes

Celebrating All School
Staff Members

Growing up, I was taught to be kind and give thanks. This September, I asked my community to start nominating school staff members that we should surprise with a gift card & thoughtful note. I’m blown away to see how social media can take an idea from North Carolina to Michigan, California and beyond.

Ms. McDonnell

I chose you for this award because you always put the children ahead of yourself. You are not just concerned about the academic growth of the kids, but also are committed to their personal welfare.

Mr. Derstine

Congratulations on your big move! Whether it’s in Thailand, China or now, Columbia, you teach with the same passion and dedication for every single student.

Ms. Bahri

Thank you for always offering tips and ideas on social media @kbahri for others passionate about learning. I loved that you recently taped each student’s picture to a seat in the classroom, so they can visualize themselves in the room, even when virtually! #Inspiring
